When Jenny's Mom Anna noticed the too many people crowded around them, she asked the names of the three ladies and then looked at Arnel , with a serious tone in her voice said, "I hope my daughter found the perfect man in you."
Arnel blushed and felt uneasy. His pale skin just turned red as a beet. Joan giggled she thought his nose was a bit red like a cherry tomato.
Joan whispered to Jeaneth and Janice that Jenny's mother is somewhat bitchy.
"Is she?"" I don't think so," quipped Janice. "I think she's just frustrated that her daughter married so early."
Every mother is cautious about their daughter's own welfare for the mere fact that she as a mother is a divorcee she knew what it feels like and she doesn't want her daughter to end up like her. Divorce can upset every members of the family. Most of all it triggers psychological, emotional and sociological problem in a child. That's a known fact.
Was Gardo affected too with the divorce of her mother from her father? Later they found out that Gardo was actually a seminarian and on one week holiday.
The whole cast enjoyed a hearty meal of Brazilian food. Jenny's mother, a socialite poured glasses of vodka, and tequila for those who would rather take a strong shot of liquour. Anna's friends were there from the fashion magazine that she worked for. Most of them are happy and ... gays. But they are fun to be with just as what the girls expected. Lots of dancing inside their house and dancing outside is more prominent. The loud noisy sounds of the colorful carnival parade can be heard and seen from their own balcony.
Jeaneth, Janice and Joan sipping their champagne and keep coming back and forth at the main dining table to taste some of the paella, chorizzos and feijoada.
Janice: Oh these food are delicious. Exotic food are a joy to savour.
Jeaneth: Sure this food, especially this beef jerky (charque) is amazing! Delicious! Barzilian beef is the best you know that's why I like hereford.
Joan: (laughing and tipsy already) couldn't help but told everyone that Jeaneth is so childish . "Would you like toothpick to go with it?"
Hilarious as it may sound but the entire crew were enjoying the time of their life.

At Jenny Garfield's Residence: Jenny's house has three bedroom with sunken living room and an extra family room big enough for the party. The adequate space can occupy the whole class. It wont be a problem. The kids were delighted to start the party.
Jenny introduced her Dad to her classmates and to Miss Kraft. Her dad and Miss Kraft get along well together. Jenny's Dad and Miss Kraft had this common denominator to say the least. Both showed maturity having cool conversation. They have a good chemistry between them that the girls have noticed. Joan told the special attention that Jenny's father had shown their adviser. Jenny could only think it's about time. Her dad's been divorced for more than 10 years.
Joan,Janice and Jeaneth helped their friend in entertaining their classmates. Girls offered some snack: Chips, peanuts, pop, punch (pineapple-orange juice with gin tonic -mild) Disco songs were played by the designated DJ (disc jockey). The music of the Village People, songs from Michael Jackson's Thriller and Billy Jean, Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees were played.
Later the DJ played the song "Stairway to Heaven." When Jenny's father danced with Miss Kraft, the rest of the students wont budge to participate the slow moving song. Joan asked Jenny to dance with Leopold or to Arnel.
"Why should I?" Jenny replied to Joan and blurted out, "Why don't you?"
Joan responded," They're not my type!"" Besides this is your home it's for you to keep your visitors to feel at home." Joan left and sit beside Jeaneth and Janice. The girls had fun watching their classmates as they danced on the dance floor.
Joan: Wow! It's nice seeing Miss Kraft back to being a human again.
Janice: Hey, don't be boastful and sarcastic girls. She deserved to have a little romance don't you think?
Jenny: (laughing) Funny! Good that my dad is divorced and Miss Kraft is still single then matching the two is just fair. I mean I don't mind if my dad marries again. I like Miss Kraft I think she is very smart.
Jeaneth: I think it's about time for your dad to be happy and so as Miss Kraft. Besides your mom is not here in Canada. Is she still in Brazil?
Jenny: Yes she's till in Brazil together with my brother and sister. I might visit them someday. But not this year ...no I'm not ready (Jenny feeling sad for a moment left the girls and attend to her other chores at the kitchen)

Only the four girls were able to reach to the point of superiority. Other students were not able to reach the goal and back out and asked that they'll be replace or move to other sections. From 25 students there were only 15 students fighting to survive and struggle for more hardship. For the four studious girls its another game played with much ease and precision. Studying and research is just a mere GAME for these four girls but nobody can understand or comprehend their sole purpose.

Part 5 - Seeing Is Believing
The wide open spaces on each side of the road are filled with stalks of barley and rye. The brown color appeal of this wonderful scenery adds splendid shades of hue to the greenery and yellow wild weeds on the horizon. Swaying gracefully to the wind. Truly amazing.
While our terrain vehicle passed unto one block to another and I started gazing upward. Up in the bluer than blue sky has suddenly darkened for a while with the on coming flying V formation of wild geese. Such a remarkable attraction to those who are nature enthusiast and those who love birdwatching. The marshland is covered with mallards and other known species of ducks , geese and few pink flamingos.
I stopped our 4x4 and breathe fresh air. Grabbed my Bushnell binocular. Mateelda and I started watching the many fowl animals. A big sign posted at the side of the road reads: "People Above All Else." Hmm...that is so strange! Suddenly something out of the ordinary happened...a dropping from the sky! I couldn't help but screamed at that moment. Thank God my reflex is quite incredible.
There are handful quantity of squirrels running for cover. Multitudes of vibrant lupins in violet, orange and blue colors. After fifteen minutes of sightseeing off we go to our destination. Homeward bound.
Home at last after more than three hours. We didn't waste any time. Hold on to the many proceedings of acquiring the business. Appointment with the legal attorney, and other business consultant. All pertinent papers done within 4 working days. Have all our furniture and legal belongings and property organized and put to proper legal places. Contact the movers who will move our stuff to our chosen location with the view.
Before the next day of moving we were given a surprise party. A despedida. Mateelda's father asked us to have the party be held at his rancher. His rancher has a beautiful sprawling landscape and a medium sized pool. He worked in the swimming pool arena as a security guard. He wants to make sure that nobody or anybody bullying others that he said he keep watch on almost anybody strange in there. As a matter of fact he has video surveillance for security purpose. That's great! I like that. Bullies beware then.
On the other hand Vivianne's family are also in there having so much fun. They also wish having a swimming pool of their own in their backyard. Barbecue party started at 4pm and lasted at 9 pm until everyone get tired from karaoke singing, swimming, dancing and yes, eating the most important part why everyone's there. Human beings should have food all the time or else your mind will be full of imagination.
