Marie has great sympathy to the family of the victim that she also attended the funeral-memorial service held at the house of the victim's family. There are too many people. Actually the house was over crowded. She can't barely get in or no seats available. She offered her condolence and flowers to the relatives. Looked at one more time, for the last time. The casket was half open and the bite marks on her neck is visible. Deep bite marks on her left and right side of the neck. Then she heard group of women women whispering. "Can you believe what happened to Ursula?"" Tsk! Tsk! the suspect drained her body, sucking the last drop of blood from her body" the older lady told the women. "Sh----shhh--- quiet!" the older woman angrily stop her friend from making a noise.
Then here comes the butler with a silver tray of glass filled with juice and wine. Marie took the glass of juice instead. More chatting and the conversation never stop from corner to corner of that very affluent house. Ursula's family belong to the rich and famous clan, no wonder why there are so much visitors for her wake.
Marie spent only twenty minutes of her time and she went back to work at Drake's. Almost everyone is there at the workplace. Attendance is complete. Looks like they'd rather work at the office instead of at home. They gathered like a broomstick in a very serious conversation. Nobody asked her to join them. It is time for work not time for chatting.
Later Marie was feeling kind of dizzy and disoriented. She tried to stand up and get a glass of water from the kitchen.
Martha asked her if she's okay but Marie didn't say a word. She quickly went back to her room and grabbed her shoulder bag and left the office. The co-workers were asking Martha what is wrong with Marie because she looked kind of unreachable. She looked confused and her behaviour is somewhat erratic.
Martha just rolled her eyes and told them to leave her alone.
