It was already 7:00 pm and the girls were waiting at the bus station which is located near the plaza.
Janice: I think I'd better phone my Dad to pick us up here it's getting late.
Jenny: No need Janice. The bus will arrive soon.
After 5 minutes the bus arrived and the many passengers sitting at the bench walked fast ahead of them. One guy, a teenager accidentally stepped on Jenny's left foot.
Jenny: Ouch!! How dare you stepped on my foot. Are you blind?
The guy apologized right away. The boy looked at Jenny's face as their eyes met the boy's face turned beet red. He was blushing in shame that he hurriedly stepped up and went as fast as he could inside the bus. He preferred to sit at the back of the vehicle and tried as much as possible to ignore Jenny and the girls.
Jenny: Stupid guy. (Jenny was furious. She probably was hurt and in pain)
Jenny still murmuring like a child. She was a bit furious as you can tell from her explicit words.
"I could have punch him." She told the girls.
Janice, Joan, and Jeaneth cannot stop giggling.
Janice: You know what? That guy is so cute. Don't you think? Besides he made an apology already.
Jenny: Shut up Janice! I'm not interested.
The girls kept on teasing Jenny to the guy until their friend's face turned blushy pink.
What more when the young man get out from the bus, their soft giggling spectacle turned into uncontrollable laughter. Two seniors seated close to them gave them a fierce sharp look and one old woman, a spinster told them to keep quiet.
The girls stopped the bus by pressing the button and the door automatically opens. Their homes just five minutes walking distance from the bus stop. Their three bedroom houses were adjacent to each other's in a subdivision.
Just as when the girls enter their homes and waved at each other, the sprinkler ( a cistern) automatically switched on. It was 8:00 pm.
