Part 9 - Up In The Sky

After all those pre-requisites, much hooplas and other non-essential decorations at the tavern I asked Mateelda if we could have a one day mountain climbing. Rock climbing and practice riflery in the afternoon.

We let the electricians and cable guys worked on our electronics and the connections inside the tavern.

I asked Mateelda again if she's with me or not.

"Oh wow! That's a good idea! Mateelda exlaimed in ecstasy.

I will teach Mateelda how to hold the rifle and aim fire at those million of ducks in the Meadowbrook. That's gonna be lots of fun.

Wearing our combat gear, we drove fast, as hurriedly like quick squirrels on the highway. No we can't find nuts on the road. They are getting smarty you know. First thought we can crack those nuts to give to the monkeys waiting to have their snack. But no that can wait.

At the Meadowbrook, millions of ducks gathered at the pond. I first thought they were just a part of the landscape because of its color. I was aiming fire at one of the hundred of ducks in one corner then suddenly it flew away and the commotion have several of them flying in the azure sky. The commotion is brought on by the super sonic sound of jet behind the gray cloud.

Once again I aimed not on the duck but I found out that there were few group of geese hiding behind the stalks of cat's tail and fired at one of them. The sound of the blast scared the rest of the species . They flew away and not seen again in that particular pond.

Mateelda called me to the spot where the goose lay dying and another goose was also hit by the bullet. Two birds in one shot! I was a sharp shooter after all. Mateelda patted my back and say "Congratulations!" You're that good when it comes to your aim.

We didn't go home until we had a dozen birds on our hands. The chinese would like to have these fowls you know? ONe goose equals $5.00! Mateelda was laughing hilariously. We have twelve geese and you know we can have them for barbecue.

Mateelda touching her chin in great pride and said to herself, "with millions of ducks and geese in this town then multiply them by $5.00 is worthy like a "budget." You know "species."

"Yeah right!" I can hear what you are saying Mateelda. With millions of ducks here you get flu virus and you'll be affected by it one way or another. You know...the water.

"What's with water?! Mateelda asked.

Oh yeah what's with water? Get a Brita!
